Zev Eisenberg

Grounded, perceptive, and quietly intuitive, Zev has a gift for hearing what lives beneath the words. He brings psychological insight, compassion, and a willingness to ask the question that matters.

He holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from NYU. His background includes trauma-informed therapy, psychedelic integration training, and the study of Internal Family Systems.

His professional background informs this work. Within this offering, Zev provides preparation and integration guidance rather than serving in a licensed therapeutic role.

James Gangemi

Warm, candid, and deeply curious, James brings an instinct for connection and a belief that insight can arrive through a difficult truth, a moment of laughter, or a piece of music that finds you at exactly the right time.

His background spans more than a decade in transformational work and conscious community, experience in a New York City ketamine clinic, and work as a producer of Envision Festival. He is a certified life coach and Landmark graduate.

Our Shared Approach

Our work brings together Zev’s background in psychotherapy and James’s experience in coaching, sound, and festival and event production. Between us, we’ve completed training in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, Dr. Pam Kryskow’s Roots to Thrive, Fluence, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These foundations, and guidance from countless thought leaders, mentors, and wisdom keepers we turn to personally, inform how we listen, prepare, and support meaningful integration.

We are also husbands, soul mates, and each other’s greatest teachers. Our love asks us to soften our defenses, speak honestly, and keep choosing connection. It reminds us to laugh, stay curious, and leave room for a little mischief.

Our education continues far beyond the classroom. Travel, adventure, spiritual exploration, and building communities have taught us to meet the unfamiliar with humility and an open heart. Building a life and business together gives us daily opportunities to practice what we share.

Heart Openers grows from all of it: our training, our wild adventures, our love, and our ongoing work on ourselves. Our humanness. We bring that experience to helping you make discoveries your own, through the relationships, choices, and everyday moments that shape a life.
